Going along with the budget friendly trends in the industry, We decided it was time to play along. Introducing the “Sundown Full Bridge” line of amplifiers, “SFB” for short. These amps pack a huge punch in a fairly small footprint. Due to the full bridge technology, these amplifiers are not strappable however you can line up multiple amps together to create a massive powerhouse in the same, if not smaller, footprint of your standard half bridge predecessors for a fraction of the cost.
All of the SFB 4ch amp’s power ratings are listed at the 1ohm rating. For instance, the SFB-500.4 is 500Wrms at 1ohm per channel. This allows you to run many more speakers together in a multitude of different wiring configurations than using a standard Class A/B/D half bridge design. These are the perfect amplifiers for large systems where you have a plethora of pro drivers in multiple doors or line arrays.
All SFB mono amplifiers are full range. This not only allows you to run subwoofers as you would most mono amps, but you can also run a large arrays of mids/highs on these amps as well. The crossovers on the mono SFB amps can attenuate from 15hz all the way up to 20khz. This allows you to set bandpass crossover points and dial in whatever frequency you desire for your setup no matter the type of speaker you are using.
The SFB series amps are considered to be a “Brazilian Style” of amplifier. This technology is not new and has been around for quite a while however, the use of them has surged dramatically in the past few years. These little amplifiers are known to be the best bang for your buck. If you are looking for raw power on a budget, look no further than the SFB Series from Sundown Audio.

The X v.3 series is the entry into the Sundown Audio “ultra-high excursion” suspension and frame designs. They all feature our custom tooled and patented frames (US Patent Numbers D691596, D691597, D691598, and D741841).
We mate these new platforms to a triple stacked 225mm (8.86”) diameter motor structure featuring a hyper-extended pole and extreme clearances (allowing up to 4? p-p travel before mechanical bottom). This motor drives a 3? diameter 4-layer flat aluminum coil wound on a thick aluminum former to incredible levels of excursion. This is the same coil design utilized in the NS v.3 and Z v.5 series in the past. It is a proven coil with monstrous power handling potential. The combination of coil and updated motor for the X v.3 series brings its performance in terms of motor force to about 85% of the level of the previous generation Z v.5 series! So this makes the X v.3 an incredible value.
The X v.3 series was designed from the ground-up to become the new standard in the low-frequency / small ported box subwoofer category in this price range. They will work in the same small enclosures that you are used to using for Sundown Audio subwoofers, although, the will tolerate enclosures up to about 50% larger than those if you desire even more low-end extension.
The X v.3 series is really a different kind of woofer due to its incredibly linear suspension. They are designed for the LOWEST level of bass extension possible in a small enclosure while maintaining extremely low levels of distortion.
